"Don’t Shoot the Messenger"

Proverbs 19:13,21:9 says "A foolish son is his father's ruin and a quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping. Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife." Are you a quarrelsome wife? I know that I am sometimes. I guess women in biblical times weren't much different than we are. Their husbands drove them crazy sometimes too! Though we don't want to be this way sometimes life just gets tough and arguements break out. Have you ever wondered why your husband withdraws from you? Imagine how he must feel to be constantly criticized. He probably feels like he can't do anything right. Marriages have been broken for this very reason. Proverbs 31:10,12 speaks of "The Wife of Noble Character" "A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life." Imagine what your marriage would be like if you took these timeless truths and applied them to your life? You just might be surprised at the outcome.
